DIÁLOGOS CON EL TEXTIL - CONVERSATION WITH TEXTILE

El sábado 1 de abril y en adhesión  a Los Días Europeos de la Artesanía, mis compañeras de la ACTM hicieron exitosas demostraciones de oficios textiles aportando cada una su experiencia y buen hacer en las distintas técnicas que se presentaron. El próximo domingo 9 de abril comienza otra novedosa actividad en la que participaré. Se trata de la presentación del trabajo, experiencia y trayectoria de algunas de las socias de la ASOCIACIÓN DE CREADORES TEXTILES DE MADRID con un formato diferente: DIÁLOGOS CON EL TEXTIL. Una serie de entrevistas a las mismas por parte de otras socias y organizado por el Museo A Mano del MUSEO DEL TRAJE DE MADRID.

Deseamos crear un ambiente cálido, amistoso y creativo donde la socia entrevistada nos cuente su experiencia con este mundo tan fascinante de la artesanía textil.

Comenzaremos el domingo 9 de abril a las 11:30 y tendré el honor de entrevistar a una maestra en el oficio: Pepa Carrillo,  con quien tuve la suerte de aprender acerca de la técnica japonesa Shibori.

On Saturday April 1th we celebrated the Jornadas Europeas de la Artesanía (European Days of Crafts). My mates of the ACTM made successful demonstrations of textile techniques. With their experience and good made in the different textile artworks.  Next Sunday, on April 9th, another new activity will begin, in which I will participate. It is the presentation of the work, experience and trajectory of some of the members of the ASOCIACIÖN DE CREADORES TEXTILES DE MADRID.  It will be a different format: DIÁLOGOS CON EL TEXTIL.  They will be interviews  by other members and organized by the Museo a mano of the MUSEO DEL TRAJE DE MADRID.

We want to create a warm, friendly and creative environment where  member interviewed tells us about her experience at the amazing world of textile crafts.

I will have the honor of interviewing a teacher in the textil art: Pepa Carrillo, with whom I  learned about the Japanese Shibori technique.
