NEGRO, GRIS, BLANCO Y ROJO EN UN QUILT BARGELLO

Hola, hola!!

Desde que empecé con las artesanías textiles hubo una que no me llamó especialmente la atención: el patchwork. La veía demasiado geométrica, esquemática… hasta que empecé a investigar un poquito y ¡se abrió un mundo fascinante!

En principio probé con collage, mezclando diferentes técnicas, fieltro húmedo y con aguja, bordado, etc,  reciclando materiales, sobre todo el denim que es tan versátil.

Descubrí el appliqué que es una de las técnicas que más me gustan sobre todo el que se hace con puntada escondida.

Con Generando bloques descubrí  la técnica bargello aplicada al patchwork y ¡me enganché!

El primero tuvo como color básico el azul (ya hice un post anteriormente). Ahora me he ido al rojo, combinado con el negro, el gris y el blanco.

Las líneas que le dan movimiento tienen otra posición, como olas.

Since I started with textile crafts there was one that did not particularly catch my attention: patchwork. I saw it too geometric, schematic ... until I started to investigate a little and a fascinating world opened up!

At first I made collage, mixing different techniques, wet and needle felting, embroidery, etc., recycling materials, especially denim, which is so versatile.

I discovered the appliqué, which is one of the techniques that I like the most, especially the one that is done with hidden stitch.

With #generando bloques I discovered the bargello technique applied to patchwork and got me hooked!

The first one had blue as its basic color (I already made a post previously). Now I have gone to red, combined with black, gray and white.

The lines that give it movement have another position, like waves.
