LA VIE EN ROSE EN UN QUILT BARGELLO

Hola amigos/as!

Es mi tercer quilt con esta técnica de Patchwork tan llamativa y que engancha un montón, el bargello.

Esta vez quise darle movimiento de ondas y lo fui armando como un puzzle sobre la mesa. Me puse un reto así que fui experimentando y armando el diseño.

Lo que me llevó más tiempo fue dar la sensación de  movimiento que quería que tuviese. El secreto está en el ancho de las tiras horizontales y la sucesión  de los distintos tonos de rosa para hacer un degradado.

It is my third quilt with this striking and highly engaging technique, the bargello.

This time I wanted to give it wave movement and I was putting it together like a puzzle on the table. I set a challenge for myself and I experimented and put together the design.

Which took me the longest was to give the sensation of movement I wanted me to have. The secret is in the width of the horizontal strips and the succession of the different shades of pink to make a gradient.
