EXPERIMENTANDO CON TÉCNICAS DE BORDADO

Hola amig@s!

Son momentos  extraños y difíciles donde tod@s tenemos que ser  responsables y colaborar para que podamos volver a la normalidad. Realizar artesanías textiles es una manera creativa de ocupar nuestro tiempo.

En el Taller de Artesanías Textiles del Centro de mayores estábamos experimentando con boro hasta que nos comunicaron que se suspendían las actividades. Algunas alumnas ya habían finalizado su proyecto, otras lo terminaron en su casa.

El boro es una técnica japonesa antiquísima utilizada por los campesinos para remendar su ropa. Hoy se diversifica en forma creativa decorando ropa, accesorios, artículos decorativos. Algunos trabajos están realizados con tela denim reciclada. De esta forma  colaboramos en la sostenibilidad del medio ambiente.

They are strange and difficult moments where we all have to be responsible and collaborate so that we can return to normal. Making textile crafts is a creative way to occupy our time.

In the Textile Crafts Workshop of the Senior Center we were experimenting with boro until we were informed that activities were suspended. Some students had already finished their project, others finished it at home.

Boro is an old Japanese technique used by farmers to mend their clothes. Today it diversifies creatively by decorating clothing, accessories, and decorative items. Some works are made with recycled denim fabric. In this way we collaborate in the sustainability of the environment.
